Three types of shock absorbers have been specially designed for the different sitski (Dualski/Uniski/Scarver): Fournales / Öhlins PRC / Öhlins TTX

The “FOURNALES FT” shock absorber
With its quality of design and ease of adjustment, the “FOURNALES FT” shock absorber is suitable for all level skiers. They are available for the Leisure uniski and Dualski and on the Scarver.

This shock absorber uses a pneumatic absorber with a hydraulic damper which is known as “air-and-oil shock absorbers”.

  • The fast adaptation of the shock absorber to the weight and the level of the skier, which is made by the adjustment of the air pressure that replaces the coiled spring, facilitate the collective use of the apparatus.

  • Very good level of comfort due to its suppleness in low clearances.

  • Inflation using a small air pump equipped with a pressure indicator. This air pump is an available option.

The “ÖHLINS” PRC shock absorber
Used extensively in competition and recommended especially for personal use, the ÖHLINS shock absorber is very sophisticated and gives optimum satisfaction to the most demanding skiers. They are available for the Leisure uniski and Dualski and on the Scarver.

The ÖHLINS shock absorber is hydraulic and under gas pressure.

Oil and gas are kept apart by a floating piston.
  • Thanks to a large range of strength of springs, the shock absorber can fit perfectly to the weight and level of the skier.
  • Individual and accurate adjustment of :
      • Compression damping with a knob placed on the reservoir.
      • Rebound damping with a knob at the bottom of the shock absorber

The “ÖHLINS” TTX shock absorber
Thanks to the development partnership between TESSIER and Öhlins France, sitskiers can now benefit from the new TTX technology.

Only available for the Scarver.

This ultimate technology is just starting to be distributed and is reserved for racing.

It offers the Scarver 2 adjustments in compression (high and low speed) and an adjustment on expansion. It gives optimum satisfaction to the most demanding skiers.
