Which is the better choice, The Uniski or the Dualski ?
The Uniski is currently the most used sit ski worldwide. Designed as a simpler version of the Dualski, the Uniski is more economical. The UNISKI TESSIER is made of high quality parts which make it a unique product.
Created in 1996 by Pierre TESSIER, the DUALSKI is a high performance sit ski that does as well on hard snow as on “powder” snow.Its totally articulated frame gives an incomparable comfort and sliding security. The Dualski can be placed on any type of ski and standard binding making it highly adaptable to any situation. Different configurations of the articulated frame allow to adapt the angle of inclination of the skis to the user’s performance and ability.
Those two products have been developed and improved to offer all what we can expect from a sit ski :
- Very good level of comfort and contact with snow thanks to specially designed shock absorbers. Two types of shock absorbers are available : Fournales and Öhlins.
- Two frame heights are available, one for beginners and another for performance.

- Two types of outriggers available.

Assistance and piloting bar for uniski and dualski
Two bars adaptable on Uniski and Dualski are available.
They are fixed between the seat and the frame in order to be easily removable.
The size of the bar has been designed in such a way so that:
- the use of ski lifts is not disturbed.
- the equilibrium of the Dualski or Uniski on a chairlift is not affected and the safety rail passage is not obstructed.
These bars can’t be used with the Scarver.
Assistance bar
The assistance bar is intended to help the ski instructors during the learning period of the seated skier.
It allows a temporary help to the beginner by giving to the ski instructor a good handling of the apparatus in case of difficult circumstances.
The piloting bar
Often used with the bucket articulated seat, the piloting bar allow you to use the Dualski with people not able to ski by themselves. Equipped with this bar, we speak about “Piloted Dualski”.

Né en 1996 le Dualski TESSIER est un appareil de ski extrêmement performant que la neige soit dure ou poudreuse. Son châssis totalement articulé permet d’obtenir un confort et une sécurité de glisse incomparable. Il chausse facilement tous types de skis et de fixations standard pour s’adapter rapidement à chaque situation. Aussi, différentes configurations du châssis articulé permettent d’adapter l’angle d’inclinaison des skis à la performance de l’utilisateur et à son niveau de handicap.
Ces deux produits ont été développés et perfectionnés afin d’offrir tout ce que l’on demande à un fauteuil de ski assis :
